“A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such speed. It feels an impulsion ... this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond the horizons.”
-- Richard Bach
Hmm, I do recall last October or so saying that I had almost run out of quotes. haha, I'm not sure how I'm barely hanging on to posting a quote each time I post. I think it's noticable though; looking over my comically large list of quotes, I still think the best ones I had were the ones from the very beginning, when I started posting them in August.
After each successive viewing of Boy Meets World (t.v. show for those who have had no contact with shows of this category, including such celebratated classics like Alf, Lizzie McGuire and such) I have determined that besides being one of the longer running television sitcoms (I am geez, the boy started at the age of 6 when the series premiered and he was like 18 by the time they showed the season finale) it's also one of the best all around sitcoms I've seen. It's a comedy, which is always a plus, and it follows the life of boy and his family and friends for his ENTIRE childhood.
It deals with all the social, educational, and emotional ups and downs of being young, and it's good for a wider range of age groups cause it's funny so younger kids can enjoy it, and the older kids/teenagers, if they pay attention, it's actually packed full of good morals and other such things. I'm not a freqent watcher of this show (cause it sorta comes on at the same time as another show, which takes priority) but I flip channels during commercials and even seeing these somewhat sporadic glimpses of random episodes, I am fully convinced that this series is one that has gained the approval of viewers of all ages (I mean hey, there's a reason why this series lasted for Corey Matthew's 12 years of childhood and not 1. I still remember flipping channels and hearing his voice on the day that he must have underwent an overnight puberty change cause it dropped like 2 ranges of tonality.)
Erhm, so yeah, that's my rant about my approval on the tv series, Boy Meets World. I'd recommend seeing it while it's still being aired cause unlike books, when these tv series are gone, they're really gone.

"Your act only works on an audience"
-- Jamie Sullivan
Simple but brilliant quote. Those who know you will know when you aren't being yourself.
Erhm, cousins are over at this moment. Angela's going to Poland to study for however long. I hope she comes back at regular intervals cause she's one of the best people I've ever known, not to mention that she's my cousin.

"Time is creeping behind me, surrounding around me, fading the words so desperately.
Now, give me a reason, that I can believe in; time is something you can't rewind."
-- Lillix
Ok, it's the 3rd day in a row that I've tried to post something... the last 2 days something's gone wrong and erased both my posts before I posted them. But there hasn't been that much going on since it's my "break" from camp. Ergh, home life seems a little on the dull side in comparison with the past weeks of camp I've been experiencing.

“Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within.”

Ok, whose idea was it to take the camp, consisting of 3-12 year olds to the ROM where they can't shout, can't run, and can't touch anything. I mean please, I have nothing against the ROM, but why make that a field trip for a kids camp. Kids at our camp at least, need to expend energy and they can't do that if they aren't allowed to shout, run, or touch something. Perhaps that's why they were so hard to control. It's like bottling up the energy they have for the entire day.

"I don't have digital; I don't have diddly squat. It's not having what you want; it's wanting what you've got."
-- Sheryl Crow
That song lyric keeps playing over in my head. How true is that. Being happy with that you have instead of wanting more. I often find the simple pleasures of life the most pleasant. That's why I absolutely love going to Malaysia. There's next to nothing to do there and I love it. Just simple things like working out, excercising, eating, sleeping, thinking, admiring, contemplating, and of course the occasional trip to the internet cafe so I don't completely lose touch with the outside world.

“The starting point for a better world is the belief that it is possible.”
-- Norman Cousins
Ergh, our volunteer numbers seems to have skyrocketed this week. Still, I can't complain. It's one of those weeks where I'm not sure whether or not the large amount of volunteers helps or gets in the way of each other. Call me paranoid, but I don't know why 1 or 2 of the volunteer counselors who don't do much are volunteering at all, like what exactly are they looking for at camp?
Be faithful to who you really are and those who believe will find their way to you.

“Sometimes the best way to find out who you are, is to go to that place where you don't have to be anyone else.”
-- Maria Scinico
Hrmph, the two other members of my other blog don't even visit this one except for those random once in a blue moon occasions. The bums. haha, but yeah, how true is that quote.
Erhm, life is good. I would say more, but I have to update Auron before bed so yeah.

I just heard something on the news that apparently "baffled" investigators. There was a plane that crashed into a forest somewhere that I can't remember the name of. Over 100 passengers on the plane, and all of them died except for a single child, aged 3. Luck? Fluke? Or was it maybe the fact that he was probably the only living person on the plane that wasn't thinking "oh my god it's impossible to survive this."

-- Albert Einstein
We should all learn to enjoy the simpler pleasures of life, cause sometimes, they're all that we have. So far though, this week's been far from simple. unless you consider sitting with a kid on your lap a simple pleasure of life... which I do.
Went to Milliken Mills with the camp today. Well, my swimming stuff's gone missing since I haven't seen it since last summer so I really didn't have anything to change into. I ended up swimming anyways. Mr. B insisted that I'd be fine and so yeah. I guess it was ok, but when I first got out of the changroom dripping wet, for I had gone without a change or towel (having no intention to swim in the first place, and only going to supervise) it started getting somewhat uncomfortable. I dont' know why E. didn't choose to change out of her swimming stuff. She too came out dripping wet claiming something along the lines of that she was too lazy to change. They dried pretty quickly though so it's all good.
Number one thing to remember about being a counselor; when playing games, you've got to remember that you're playing with the campers... there are no rules. That's one thing I notice that seperates the counselors (who are as young as 12 or 13) with the older campers (aged around 11 or 12). Yes, you should encourage rules to the younger kids in activities like sports where rules usually define the game, but it really doesn't do much to insisting on it or repeating them over and over again in an annoyed fashion, which happens sometimes with the older campers, who usually are less tolerant of rule breaking.

" No one should bottle up their emotions. When the pressure inside is too great and the glass breaks, the broken pieces can hurt anyone that passes by."
-- Tara Biggs
Something about Sam Roberts and Live On Release bugs me. I don't know what it is exactly, but everytime I see their music videos something in me just changes the channel to anything as long as I don't have to sit through the music vid.
On a lighter note, this marks the end of the first week of camp. Well it was a 3 day camp week but in any case, it was fun. Kids have too much energy. A little boy named Ryan, who was there last year did not return this year. Why did I pay special attention to this fact? It goes back pretty far and only one person would get it so yeah.
Kids can do the impossible. Why? Cause they're innocent. You soon find out that many things are possible as long as you don't know that they're impossible.
